UniVirtua at AWE 2024: Urban Integrate
The showcase at AWE 2024 allowed attendees to see dashAlpha in action within realistic urban military scenarios, supporting the British Army’s goals of enhancing operational efficiency, situational awareness, and mission success. The event confirmed dashAlpha’s potential as an ideal solution for urban warfare, where traditional networks might fail.
“We are honoured and excited to have showcased at this prestigious event,” said Joseph Poole, CEO at UniVirtua. “dashAlpha garnered much interest, representing a leap forward in communication technology. It provides the reliability and flexibility modern military operations demand and we are thrilled to have contributed to the future of defence innovation.”
During the AWE programme, dashAlpha demonstrated its ability to revolutionise tactical communications. By bonding multiple data bearers (MANET, PtP radio, private LTE, SATCOM), dashAlpha combines access to Land Tactical Networks and Space Tactical Networks into a single secure, resilient and high-capacity connection ensuring uninterrupted communication in even the most challenging operating environments.
dashAlpha also demonstrated its ability to support the use of bonded audio & video streaming along with support for VoIP communication and, additionally, the capability to monitor and control remotely deployed network cameras, proving its ability to be used as a remotely deployed surveillance platform.
